At Millennium Door we applaud projects designed for sustainability and welcome a chance to contribute. |

Recycled Material Use
|
| |
One pillar of a sustainable strategy is the selection of proper building materials. The base material of all
Millennium Door lines is MDF (medium density fiberboard). MDF is recycled from the
byproducts of the lumber industry, utilizing the
extra wood unable to be made into anything else. Even the sawdust created from cutting boards
can be made into high quality MDF. |

Indoor Environment Control
|
| |
We are able to
control our composite wood, adhesives and sealants,
reducing the quantity of indoor air contaminants that
are odorous, irritating and/or harmful to the comfort
and well being of installers and occupants. |

|
| |
Local Material Extraction
|
| |
With close suppliers, we
use products that are extracted and manufactured
within the region, thereby supporting the use of
indigenous resources and reducing the environmental
impacts resulting from transportation. |
